Rebecca Germany holds a bachelor's degree in Applied Coastal Biology from the University of North Florida and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Fish and Wildlife Conservation Biology from Colorado State University. With over a decade of experience in sea turtle conservation, Rebecca has been involved in all aspects of the field, including nesting surveys, scientific research, and rehabilitation efforts.
She currently helps lead a sea turtle conservation department in South Florida, where she and her team monitor nesting trends and contribute to long-term species protection strategies.
Before working with sea turtles, Rebecca served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Malawi, Africa. There, she taught Math and Biology, spearheaded a natural medicine environmental project, and worked as the Logistics Coordinator for a national education camp. Rebecca brings a deep passion for conservation, data analysis, and community service to her work.
